Hiking
Both ranches serve as unique access points for hikers. At the doorstep of the ranches is the Frank Church Wilderness Area trail network, a vast system of trails totaling nearly 2,500 miles. Most of these trails were built before 1930 and range in difficulty from easy to very challenging. Members can enjoy day hikes from both ranches or venture farther out in the wilderness on overnight backpacking and camping trips. As a Wilderness area, hikers and other travelers should practice Leave No Trace and other minimum impact techniques.
